So here it is time for the cows to be milked and I can’t sleep. Come to find out my car had diesel fuel in the tank. I had fueled up after Debbie’s funeral and some how mistook the diesel nozzle. I have never made that mistake before but leave it to me to do it while out of stat?e. Even still the men at the garage cleaned out my tank and changed some spark plugs all for under $400. Can you say feeling very blessed right now? I could not believe it when they told me the price. I was like not $2000? I still cannot believe it. I was beating myself up for a minute but then Lyn was like you had just come from a funeral anyone could have made that mistake. You know she’s right I have driving for many years now and this has never happened so I suppose I can scratch it off my bucket list. (joking of course). I just feel extremely blessed that the gentlemen at the garage were very kind and fair in pricing. Being from out-of-town I was expecting the worse case scenario. You know the one single female traveling alone and in between destinations lets take our time and see how much we can get out of her. NO not at all the southern hospitality is amazing!
Lyn and I just hung out yesterday while her wife worked. I have known Lyn since she was 17 years old. She’s one of those friends that drove 3 1/2 hours to come get me so I wouldn’t be stranded or have to spend money I didn’t have on a hotel. I am very blessed to have her and other friends like her that would do that for me. I’ve been getting to know the six dogs here. What a riot! There is never a dull moment for sure. They are awesome dogs just love them to death already. I was fortunate to get a couple great photos that I will add at the bottom of this blog. When I laid down last night I just did not have the energy to write. Jumbled thoughts and not sure how to put them down. Its been nice hanging out with Lyn and Melissa. They both have an awesome since of humor so we all end up laughing and laughing hard belly laughs. I cannot tell you how much I have appreciated that for sure. I needed to do some laughing.
