So its official I made it to 52! Happy Birthday to me. It started at 8 a.m. with breakfast at Shannon’s restaurant with Alicia (my daughter) and Mom. Buffet was awesome. Then Alicia came with me on a puppy run. Was nice to chat with her and enjoy time with her as a mother herself she is busy working and running kids all the time. The five puppies that we picked up in Springfield were so darn cute; handed them off in Bloomington for the next leg of the run. They are all safe and in the foster or permanent homes now. I feel honored to be a small part of the process that saves these animals that can’t speak for themselves. Of course once I was home I was exhausted and needed a nap.
So here I sit wondering of all the things in my brain rolling around what will I share tonight? I mean meds wake me up, put me to sleep, help my focus, help with pain, ugh. Ths getting old shit is for the birds. I have truly tried to keep physical. But the pain I am in on a daily is bad. Doc changed me from Norco to Nucynta. One opiad to another less strong. Concerned about liver so I watch my Tylenol intake. Just really sucks when they take away something most likely was helping for this new shit that is supposed to help Neuropathy.
Just so tired, love to all more another time. ❤
